A quiet room, a proper examination, and a plan you can follow.
Hush Physiotherapy Pty Ltd is an Australian-registered physiotherapy practice working across Melville and the surrounding 6156 suburbs of Western Australia.
Named for how a treatment room should feel.
Most people arrive having already been told several different things about their back, their shoulder or their knee — some of it contradictory, most of it alarming. The first job is to turn the volume down: take a full history, examine the area properly, and say plainly what we think is going on and what it will take to change it.
That is what the name is about. Appointments are one-to-one and unhurried, because a rushed examination is the fastest way to treat the wrong structure. Nobody is moved between three treatment beds at once.
The practice covers ordinary musculoskeletal work: spines, shoulders, hips, knees, ankles and the tendons around them. It is not a gym, and it is not a passive treatment service. Hands-on work is used where it helps, and it is always attached to something you do between appointments.

Three commitments that shape every appointment.
They are unremarkable on paper. Holding to them consistently is what makes the difference to how quickly people get better.
Assessment before treatment
Nothing is treated until it has been examined. Movement, strength and the movements that reproduce your symptoms get measured first, so there is a baseline to compare against later.
An explanation you can repeat
If you cannot explain your own injury to someone else by the end of the appointment, the explanation was not good enough. Plain language, no unnecessary diagnoses, no scare stories about your spine.
Exercise that fits your week
A programme you will not do is worthless. We build around the time, equipment and patience you actually have, then progress it as your capacity changes.
Mostly people who are not athletes.
The 6156 suburbs are a mix of trades, offices, young families and long-settled retirees, and the caseload reflects that. Weekend sport is part of it, but so is the back that went while lifting a boat trailer and the neck that aches by Thursday afternoon.
If your problem needs imaging, a GP referral or a specialist opinion, we will say so rather than keep treating it.
